The UK Eastern Network for Kidney Inflammatory Disease (ENKID)
The ENKID regional multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings were launched in May 2023 in the East of England to provide a framework for improving access to specialist expertise, high-cost drugs, and clinical trial participation. The meetings facilitate collaborative decision-making and optimal use of therapeutics to improve patient outcomes.
The meetings take place virtually on a fortnightly basis and are led by the specialist vasculitis, lupus and primary GN service in Cambridge.
