Which aspects of the programme were most beneficial for you?
  • The entire week was truly outstanding, full of relevant information for both clinical and future research practice. I think that this course has significantly impacted my knowledge and the future from both a clinical and research perspective. The team at Cambridge is truly remarkable.
  • The entire course was beneficial. The most important thing was observing the organization of the vasculitis clinic and the clinical research department and seeing the importance of the nursing team (all of whom were excellent, of course) in the management of the department.
  • Combination of teaching and clinical observation
What key insight or learning will you take away from this programme?
  • Both the clinic perspective from Cambridge and their research expertise.
  • The entire program is excellent; I wouldn't change a thing, but the meetings after the outpatient visits, where cases are discussed, are more difficult to follow since we are not familiar with many of the patients' cases, and they are discussed in a way that is impossible to interpret because the clinical context is missing before the points that bring them up for discussion are addressed. The practical usefulness lies in their existence and the fact that they are an important part of the clinic's structure.
  • I have learnt about the importance of interdisciplinary care for these complicated patients.
